Some of the Milky Way in Cygnus

Deneb-Sadr and (some of) the Milky Way in Cygnus. Taken from Provence, France.

Thought I would look back at one of my first attempts at imaging one of my favourite parts of the sky. Sadr is nearly dead centre, and Deneb is up and to the left of it. You can start to see the North American Nebula, Pelican Nebula, and Crescent Nebula.

Technical details: 18x60s exposures with a Canon 6D an on iOptron Skytracker. PixInsight: StarAlign, ImageIntegration, ABE(twice), CurvesTransformation. Then some tweaks in Lightroom: adjust the white and darks points so it is looking nice, a bit of dehaze/clarity, drop the yellow colour channel to reduce local light pollution, boost pinks to highlight nebulae.
