Lightest black hole or heaviest neutron star?

Astronomers have discovered a new object in the Milky Way that is heavier than neutron stars but lighter than black holes. The discovery could allow for testing of Einstein’s general relativity and shed light on the nature of black holes. The object was found using the MeerKAT Radio Telescope and is located around 40,000 light years away in a globular cluster. [Science Daily]
